Paso Robles Joint Unified School District school board, Trustee Area 2
Candidate Brian Maxted’s Approach to Education
I don’t believe every problem in education can be solved by spending more money, and I don’t believe every district decision of the past was wrong. I believe in something simpler:
Keep what works. Fix what doesn’t. Measure results. Be honest when something goes wrong. And never forget who our schools exist to serve.
- Our students deserve excellent schools.
- Our teachers deserve strong leadership and support.
- Our parents deserve a voice.
- And our taxpayers deserve accountability.
That’s the kind of School Board member I intend to be.
